Abstract

The work Communication, Information and Technologies: Approaches and Applications (University of Guadalajara, 2025) analyses the convergence between communication, information and emerging technologies in eight chapters that combine theory and practice. Its most relevant contributions focus on the relationship between communicative governance and technological ethics, with findings on official advertising, leadership in AI environments and disinformation. However, reliance on secondary data and a lack of comparative studies limit its methodological robustness. This review argues that the book constitutes a necessary agenda for transparency and communicative sustainability, although it requires progress towards verifiable operational frameworks and broader empirical designs.
