The evolution of the study of rumors and hoaxes on Twitter has to adapt the look to each country and to each media compared system (Hallin and Mancini, 2004). The aim of this research is to analyze the tweets published from the Maldito Bulo account (Spain) and to explore and describe the verification processes that are (re)presented there. In this study, a content analysis is focused on their tweets, links, images, mentions, etc. and the research is complemented by in-depth interviews with team members. From the analysis carried out on the Maldito Bulo account, two different strategies and structures of communication are clearly drawn: one related to debunking rumors and the other related to the type of disinformation that circulates.
